Drug Rehab Programs and Services Near Elizabethtown

As part of our commitment to quality care, all Roaring Brook Recovery clients get an individualized treatment plan no matter what program they’re in at our center. With that in mind, here’s a little bit about what to expect in our drug rehab programs and services near Elizabethtown.

Partial Hospitalization Program

The partial hospitalization program (PHP) at Roaring Brook Recovery is a highly structured outpatient addiction treatment program. PHP clients at our drug rehab near Elizabethtown attend therapy daily throughout the week, providing an immersive experience that can act as an alternative to inpatient rehab. Treatment approaches used during the program may include but aren’t limited to the following:

  • Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT)
  • Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
  • Motivational Therapy
  • Experiential Therapy
  • Trauma Therapy
  • Neurofeedback
  • Family Therapy
  • 12-Step

While groups are a large part of our programs, you will also be assigned an individual therapist to work with on a regular basis. You may need clothes suitable for activities like hiking while at our center. We will go over the details of our PHP with you before your admissions date.

Intensive Outpatient Program

Roaring Brook Recovery’s intensive outpatient program (IOP) uses the same effective treatment approach as our PHP. However, IOP comes with a significantly lower time commitment than PHP, with IOP clients attending treatment at Roaring Brook Recovery for about 12 hours per week. IOPs tend to be ideal for those transitioning out of a higher level of care, like PHP, or for those who need a flexible program that allows them to work while in treatment.

Medication-Assisted Treatment Program

In addition to therapy, some clients at Roaring Brook Recovery benefit from our medication-assisted treatment program. While it is not the right fit for everyone, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) can be an important part of getting and staying sober in some cases. If MAT is the right choice for you, we have prescribers qualified to manage and administer your medication.

Women’s Rehab Program

Gender is one of many things that can affect our experiences with mental health and addiction. For example, women face some types of trauma at higher rates and may have concerns related to body image, societal pressure, or gender roles. Our women’s drug rehab program incorporates a gender-specific group for women where you will have a safe space to talk about what’s on your mind.

Men’s Rehab Program

Like women, men may share specific experiences or treatment barriers that intersect with addiction and recovery. For example, stigma related to men’s mental health. Our men’s drug rehab program incorporates a gender-specific group for men, which can be a powerful addition to treatment.

Addiction Aftercare Program

Our addiction aftercare program helps clients maintain recovery once more intensive treatment comes to an end. Overcoming substance abuse of any kind can be a long journey, and it’s essential to have support and skills to use when stressors emerge.

Mental Health Treatment

According to a factsheet on mental health in Kentucky from the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), 746,000 adults in Kentucky have a mental health condition. However, similar to substance abuse, many people who need mental health care don’t get the help they need. In addition to working with substance use disorders, we offer mental health treatment in Kentucky. Our mental health programs include anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) treatment programs.
